Common Ground Coffee is located in the historic Goss Opera House: Watertown, South Dakota’s historic home for great food, art and music
We are passionate about coffee, as well as the coffee-drinking experience. Quality coffee drinks, freshly baked pastries, cozy seating, eclectic surroundings and SDSU ice cream are only part of what we provide.
All of our coffee beans are roasted in-house and brewed into traditional handcrafted espresso and coffee drinks. We also serve real fruit smoothies, shakes and an incredible selection of tea!
Our cakes, pies, truffles and other homemade deserts are incredibly delicious. We offer breakfast pastries and tasty soups for lunch everyday!

Monday thru Saturday at 7pm, in the Goss Cafe, we have FREE live music! Including regular appearances by Johnny Westlake and our house band, Shades of Air (formerly known as Mudshovel). On Monday nights, get-up on stage for open mic! All musicians, poets and performance artists welcome!
